Grocery Club (Scrip Program)
Why Wait? Join the Grocery Club NOW!
Start Saving for Your Children's Education!
The grocery club is an exciting way to reduce the cost of grade school and high school tuition. Simply by shopping at participating stores, you can
accumulate tuition credits.
How Does the Program Work?
You, your family, friends and neighbors can purchase gift certificates in the scrip office, before you go shopping. It's that simple and ANYONE can participate. Use the certificates at the participating stores - JUST LIKE CASH!
Where Can I Buy Certificates?
Certificates can only be purchased in the grocery club office, located in the rectory. The entrance is through the breezeway between the rectory and church, off of Castor Avenue.
The office is staffed by volunteers and is open weekdays from 9 - 11 AM and 6 - 8 PM; Saturday from 4:00 - 5:30 PM and Sunday from 9 - 11 AM.
How Can I Pay for the Certificates?
Cash and personal checks are accepted. Sorry, we cannot accept post dated checks!
How Do Families Receive Tuition Credits?
With every purchase of certificates, you will receive a tuition voucher. The vouchers are valid for one year from the date of issue. It is your responsibility to keep them
in a safe place until you are ready to redeem them. Remember they are like cash! Please redeem them in a timely manner by bringing them into the grocery club office. There you will be given a receipt for the amount of credits that the vouchers are worth.
Resurrection parish school families: Tuition account credit to be deducted from next payment.
Out of parish school families or families with Catholic High School tuition: A check will be made payable to the school and available for pick up from the grocery club office within five (5) business days.
Please Note: The parish will not be responsible for lost vouchers. Keep them safe and treat them like cash!
Since the Grocery Club Office is staffed entirely by volunteers, we are not always able to find volunteers for all the scheduled hours of operation. If you could spare anytime to volunteer, we would be happy to train you. Bring a friend - we prefer two volunteers per shift.
If you have any specific questions regarding the Grocery Club Program or would like to volunteer to work the office, please contact Jeanie Czarnik at 215-745-3211.
